The FSLE is a foundation established by the FAE with support from the City of Lausanne and from UNIL.

Its objective is to provide youngsters pursuing education with lodgings at the cheapest possible prices.

From 1 September 2008, the FSLE has secured a building with 35 rooms at Avenue du Valentin 27 and further rooms at the former Hôtel de la Navigation (Avenue de la Harpe 49 - Rhodanie).
